Tattoo Instructions

Do's

  • Keep it clean: Wash gently with mild soap after 2-4 hours.
  • Moisturize: Apply a paper-thin layer of ointment twice a day.
  • Let it flake: It is normal to peel. Let the skin flake off naturally.

Don'ts

  • Don't Scratch: Scratching pulls out pigment.
  • No Swimming: Avoid pools and lakes for 3 weeks.
  • Avoid Sun: Keep the healing skin out of direct sunlight.

Piercing Instructions

Do's

  • Clean 3x a Day: Make lather out of Dettol Skincare soap, use a fresh cotton swab to clean the area. Rinse with clean water.
  • Tea Tree Oil: Pure tea tree oil can be used to aid the healing process.
  • Complex Piercings: Dissolve 1 tsp non-iodised sea salt in 1L lukewarm water. Soak tissue (not cotton) and apply for 10 mins, twice daily. Dry with tissue.

Don'ts

  • Unhygienic Hands: Do not touch the pierced area with unwashed hands.
  • Don't Rotate: Do not rotate the pierced stud while cleaning.
  • Avoid Water/Gym: Avoid the gym and swimming for 3 weeks.
  • Keep Jewelry In: Don't remove jewelry until fully healed (usually 45 days).

*If you notice serious pain or infection, consult a doctor immediately. You might be exposed to bacterial infection, nerve damage, or metal rejection. For keloids (thick scarring), use BETNOVATE-N twice a day.
